Wood Horse Pellets How to Use Them

If you own a horse, then perhaps you need to know every detail in taking care of a horse, including how to lay horse pellets as beddings. In this blog, you are going to know everything about horse pellets.

It would help if you had a stable, perhaps 13 x 12 in size, slightly larger than the average 12×12 stable for a 15 kg bag. This is easier to handle than the big bag of bedding.

Here are the tips that would help you.

1. Putting dry pellets underneath

When you put dry pellets underneath, you also have to leave them dry so they can be left to soak up the horses.

2. Fluffing

When you make the fluffed-up sawdust, it is recommended that you use 1 gallon of 4.5 liters of water in every bag. There are two methods: putting some in the bucket and adding water to let it fluff in the bucket. Another method is sprinkled water on the watering if horse pellets are all out easily.

3. Incision of Bags

Make an incision in each bag to put water into the bag itself, unless it falls off that way. You have to pour up on top of each bag about 1 gallon of water. You can leave it to fluff up for about 10 minutes until you observe it turns into sawdust.
